Weston-super-Mare AFC Secures GSH Projects as North Stand Sponsor

Weston-super-Mare AFC has announced GSH Projects as the new sponsor of the North Stand at The Optima Stadium.

Founded in 2013 and based in Worle, GSH Projects specialises in fit-out and passive fire protection across commercial sectors, working on student accommodation, social housing, retail spaces, and healthcare facilities.

The sponsorship deal reflects the company’s commitment to the local community and extends to the club’s new ‘Spin-the-Wheel’ initiative, which will be streamed live on Facebook. The matchday feature gives grassroots football clubs the chance to win free first-team match tickets, debuting ahead of Weston’s home game against Enfield Town.

Club Director Ed Bliss welcomed the partnership, highlighting its impact on community engagement.

GSH Projects Director Scott Hannam emphasised the company’s long-standing links to the club, recalling his co-director Gavin Simpson’s family running food and drink concessions in the 1990s, while his own son currently plays for the club’s academy.
